About Us

The LaSalle County Area Purchasing Cooperative (LCAPC) was formed in 1990 by John Scholfield while he was a superintendent at Leland School in Illinois.  When John retired from Leland the cooperatives operation and administrative agent was transferred to the LaSalle County Regional Office of Education.  John continued to work with the coop at the regional office for 13 years.  The LCAPC has grown to 68 school districts with over 32,000 students from 15 different counties.  The cooperative continues to grow as we welcome new districts each year.   Distributor bids were done for the 2016/2017 school year with Kohl Wholesale being awarded the bid.  We look forward to working with Kohl!
